NATUR-E Micelle

NATUR-E Micelle is a clear, micellized, water-dispersible, liquid solution vitamin E(500 IU RRR-alpha-tocopherol per ml).

The product is specially formulated for use in liquid diets, mixed into drinking water, or top-dressed onto feed.

The vitamin E activity is provided as RRR-alpha-tocopherol (d-alpha-tocopherol), a natural-source and biologically active form of vitamin E. This form of vitamin E, does not have to be hydrolyzed prior to absorption.

This seems to be of greater importance to young animals that may have deficiency of esterase enzymes necessary to cleave the ester from the tocopheryl acetate prior to absorption.

The micellization process enhances the ability of animals to utilize vitamin E. The process allows the fat-soluble vitamin E to be absorbed more readily than dry, oil-based, or emulsion-forms of vitamin E.

The product has shown to be effective in all classes of animals tested.

California Mastitis Test (CMT)

CMT is an easy method to detect subclinical (non-visible) mastitis. Mixed with milk, the CMT reagent reacts with leucocytes (white blood cells) that are usually present in large numbers when an infection occurs. When this reaction occurs, the reagent-milk mixture thickens or gels in proportion to the number of leucocytes present and indicates the severity of the inflammation. The greater the reaction, the higher the CMT score.
